Indeed! And it was supposed to last 4-6 weeks! It was an absolute disastrous idea. All they achieved was severely hurting their brand image and they handed more of the market share to escortify.

Whoever came up with that moronic idea should be promptly fired for the damage they have done. Somehow I think it was probably one of the owner family member's idea though. 🙄

Actually a bit under 3 days, what dumb fucks, they just keep shooting themselves in the foot, making misandrist old grey a moderator of AF completely fucking the forum, everybody departed and formed new groups leaving AF sitting there getting taken over by cobwebs and tumbleweed now they go and fuck their escort website that has already been losing market share and monopoly to give the opposition website a lift up with their departing paid advertisers, fuck you've got to wonder if old grey is running the show or a consultant giving them expert industry advise 🤣 🤣 🤣

I wonder how much they paid Old Grey for her consultation fee to recommend charging punters to access escorts numbers when they can get them for free on escortify. 🤣
 
The thing to look out for is whether their next move is to bump up the advertising fees or structuring it differently so that WGs pay more.
 
They probably will. They have been noticeably losing the market share to Escortify over the last several years and it now looks like Escortify has the most escorts on it. I generally look at agency sites the most but when I do check the directories, Escortify is the first one I check these days.

Unless they've made some substantial changes, all the numbers on the Escortify site include inactive ads. Look at any locality, in some places there may be as many or more ads on Escortify (with 4 for the same Asian gal instead of 2 on NZG) but there sure as shit aren't 2.5x as many.

NZG seems to have inactive ads as well as the girls go offline or perhaps stop paying. But you are probably right in a lot of the ads are bait and switch Asian girls. No doubt there are multiple Asian adverts being run by a single agent or girl.

Still bait and switch adverts are a problem on both platforms. I have heard that one they verify a profile on either they no longer need to verify it again. Often girls, especially the Asian ones, will give or sell their profiles to others who used it for baiting and switch purposes. Some probably just go through the verify process with the help from a girl and use it for B&S right away anyway!

But yeah... when I use Escortify I literally ignore all the Asian ads. The first thing I do is switch the filter to "non-Asians" and even then 1/4 are still Asians! :rolleyes:
 
I get the feeling NZG ae trying to position themselves at the higher end of the market, using their reputation to leverage this. The whole site is wilting.
I don't know who/what is behind Escortify, but they don't seem to go over and above for service, just do the basics and have a fair price and gain success from no one else pushing.

The market is probably ripe for a good high-end site that has NZ hands-on operators and works in with the Brothels and the new forums. Anyone feel like chancing their arm here?
An experienced punter would be the best person to run this.
 
With the latest changes in the search engine Escortify is much more useful now. If I want to see anything different from the usual agency websites I usually go to, my next go to would be Escortify, I almost never go to nzg anymore. I will not shed a tear when this site finally goes down. The only bad thing is that this would be bad for competition.

Scarlet Blue is the higher end of the market, although it is Australian based. That is were all the higher end kiwi escorts advertise. And that is where the more affluent punters probably find their girls.

In terms of advertising tiers it has traditionally looked something like this for NZ punters.
  1. Scartlet Blue
  2. New Zealand Girls
  3. Escortify
  4. Locanto
Escortify would probably have to improve the aesthetic of the website to fully take over NZG. Also try and do something about all the B&S adverts and low class girls. But they might be content with their position as the now biggest mid-tier directory in NZ
