Agency Pricing Structure (and what they may be implying) 🤑

Hey,

I am a bit of an economic nerd so how individual agency set their pricings always fascinate me.

Sort of always have some ideas in my head in terms of "dollar per minute" value but might as well put them on paper for my own reference later. If it helps the community in some way in how they want to use their own hard earned cash that will be a bonus

I will be focusing on the standard GFE pricing structure so won't go into pricings for other services like SM, PSE, bi doubles and extras etc. otherwise this will get super long.

Also will cover the main agencies only. @JohnnyPunter I will have to break my rules slightly and comment on SL and SC to provide a more comprehensive look so please don't use this against me!

This is a good place to start as it's the standard pricing model that other agencies like Vamps and O Group follows. It is by comparing these standard pricings you start to see how other agencies deviate from it to set themselves apart, in an effort to get your money or perhaps target a particular category of clients.

The main takeaways from the standard model -

1. $350/60mins is the market standard (about $5.8 per min). And the most economical option because shorter duration actually cost more in terms of dollar per min.

2. The rule of Long Term Commitment Discount doesn't necessary applies in the sex industry i.e. the longer you book the cheaper it should get.

3. The "jump" of marginal pricing from $50 per 15mins between 30mins to 60mins to $90 per 15mins between 60mins to 90mins would suggest DH encourage punters to really only book 60mins or shorter booking.

Obviously most agencies want higher client turnovers to get more house cut and I think this generally applies across the industry.

On first look you may just think "oh it's only $50 more!" but again the marginal pricing actually goes up sharper between 60mins to 120mins, basically $100 per extra 15mins.

Only LF has the sales data to see if the two tier pricing model actually works for their girls i.e. will the promotion give the girls more money by having a higher hourly rate or turn away existing and new clients due to the higher entry cost barrier, especially for longer bookings.

What stands out here is the cheaper rate of $220/30mins booking and the more expensive $570/90mins option when comparing to DH/LF.

This pricing model certainly encourages punters to opt for shorter booking rather than the longer one. To encourage more exploration of their roster of younger girls perhaps??

SC set themselves apart by having a cheaper standard rate of $320/60mins but then put their GFE Extra +$50 option right upfront.

It's an interesting tactic because punters now have to make a choice "will the extra $50 actually be worth it? well... it's only really another extra $20, I mean if I go to DH i will be paying $350 for GFE anyway."

Perhaps most punters ended up paying the extra $50, perhaps not.

Also SC often restricts their new girls to 30mins booking only to maximise the more expensive $260/30mins option, no doubt SC will be able to gauge interest from punters to see how long they can maximise the new girl "honeymoon" period.

"The cheapest rates in Auckland!" used to be their marketing line I think and they are not wrong but with some caveats I guess.

We're all immediately drawn to their much cheaper $300/60mins and overall cheaper rates across all duration offerings. If all girls are equal in terms of attractiveness and service then no doubt SB is the most budget friendly agency for punters.

However recent observations would suggest that due to the lower base rate (and in turn lower take home pay) this may incentivise the girls to be more aggressive with their extras to make up the difference.

Again punters can make a choice, will the SB offering of $300 + $50 extras of your choosing / 60mins be better off than paying for the standard $350/60mins GFE at the other agencies??

TA play by their own rules where shorter bookings up to 60mins option are much more expensive than others but suddenly they decided to apply the Long Term Commitment Discount to booking from 90mins onward!

The message is clear, TA encourage punters to book longer bookings, or at least want to maximise profits for punters that like it short, sharp and sweet.

Their 30mins option is basically a rip off but their 90mins and 120mins offerings are great bargain.

I thought some of their seasonal promotions are interesting although not all are actually worthwhile, but at least they are trying something different, having more choices in general is good for consumers.

Other observations -

- I can see agencies in other major city centres like Wellington and Christchurch tend to have overall cheaper rates than Auckland.

- They also often do interesting package deal to entice punters to pay a bit more. The "Dirty Maid" package for Gigi@iEscape is a grest example, overall it has better value than paying for individual extras, wonder why no agency in Auckland try to replicate that with their most popular girls.

- I did not touch on the high end Asian agencies like Vixens, DB Vips on purpose. Because unlike the non-asian agencies, they often will set different pricing for indivdual girls i.e. some girls can be as expensive as $500/60mins with basic service only.

- Imagine if non-asian agencies adopt this type of pricing model i.e. SC price Ari with $400/60mins rather than $320, will you still book her??

- Obviously having some "VIP service" as part of the Asian escort offering again provide punters with another layer of value proposition.

If I'm feeling broke, I'll stay home.

If I've got time, my go-to is an hour. Or occasionally push to 90mins.

If I'm short on time, or unsure if I'll like a new girl, I'll do 30mins. Which is more about not wasting time than not wasting money.

oversimplified because you have to factor in the “overhead” time of pre and post shower which might be 5 mins plus 10 mins. So for a 30 minute booking you actually only get say 15 minutes of action whereas for an hour booking you get 45 minutes.

The thing with the apartment is most the girls are independent and it runs on a different model to most agencies. I consider it more of a room co-op than a proper agency. So a lot of the girls will just come in for bookings and do not stay on site like they would at other agencies. That's why the 30min and 45min rate is so high by comparison. If the girls are going to drive in for a single booking they want it to be worthwhile.

As a gentleman who prefers longer bookings, I wish more agencies applied the Long Term Commitment Discount like TA. I get that they want to extract the most revenue per hour but there are also benefits for the agency and the girl. In this example, I have assumed a 3 hour booking:
- 1 x set of linen and towels to clean rather than 3
- One third of the scheduling admin and back & forth messages to work through, plus less Tetris trying to fit the bookings into the girl's schedule or room availability
- The girl and the room are making money for the entire duration, instead of the dead 15-30mins required for linen change and freshening up between 3 x 1 hour bookings
- From a psychological point of view, I imagine the girls would prefer to see one guy rather than 3 (assuming they can stand to be around us for that long )

That said, I've never run an agency so they will have their incentives. Also possible that most punters are quite content with 60mins so the demand isn't significant enough to build a variable pricing structure beyond that duration.

From a punter point of view, extras work out as better value the longer the booking. Paid $100 for DFK in a 1 hour booking? That's $1.67 per minute. But for a 3 hour booking, it's only $0.56 per minute.

The girls have hoe maths. We have punter maths!

(Apologies for the use of a derogative term for an escort but I've heard them use 'hoe maths' themselves, so I'm going to consider it safe in this context.)

This is more for the "middle class" punters who are price sensitive.

I am also a 60mins kind of guy and you can see most models use that as a pricing anchor in terms of the most "reasonable" price both in absolute dollars value and dollar per minutes -

- 30 minutes looks cheap in absolute dollars, but expensive per minute.
- 90 minutes looks like a lot of money, but isn't particularly cheaper per minute.
- 60 minutes sits in the middle and looks about "right".

The term "GFE" is almost meaningless these days tbh... I also see you trying to differentiate extras between "GFE" and "DFK", again for me if you paid for DFK surely that will automatically turn the session into GFE??

There are just too many variables and each agency has their own definition, but mostly down to the indivdual girl and how much they let you get away with. Some get lucky, some don't. YMMV.

Fair comment and this can go really deep if you factor in all other variables as well, like marginal price increase between durations, the ease of scheduling using 30/60mins blocks, other admin factors etc.

Yes, you are actually paying a premium in shorter booking because the admin/shower time is mostly static and doesn't really change (around 5mins if you are quick!) regardless of your booking duration, so it "eats" into your sexy time a lot more in a 30mins booking while you are still paying more dollar per minute.

The only upside is the lower absolute dollar cost i.e. you only pay $250.

Similarily the ease of scheduling and overall lower admin cost for longer bookings may compensate the lost of revenue in less client turnover.

But I think you are right that the demand may not be as strong to really entice an agency to aggressively pursuit that niche market, as such only really TA rewards punters going for longer bookings. Interestingly I understand TA also requires a full bedding change after each booking so surely you don't want to do that all the time with too many 30mins bookings!

Maximising extras in a longer booking is a very valid point but only applies to some extras. I mean for things like shower together or CoB you can only do it so many times even if you have a whole 3 hours!

I prefer 45 minutes usually. I usually only go one round because there's no way I can cum twice in an hour and I find 30 mins too rushed. 45 is a good sweet spot. I usually find myself leaving early if I book an hour anyway.

I don't like the rush, enjoy a bit of chatting and don't want admin/shower to eat too much into the main event so paying a bit more for that extra 15mins is worthwhile for me.

I think most of us would fit into 45 mins and 60 mins booking because 30 mins is no point where you only get 20 mins…I would probably go to SC more to even try girls who dont have much reviews if they would have 45 mins option at their current 30mins pricing. Currently I refrain from trying new girls at SC because $370 is on the higher side for trial and 30 mins at $310 is surely no point.

The thing with Secret Companions is yes the rate is decent. But without naming names some of the girls expect you to pay the $50 GFE on top. And if you don't pay it you're going to get disapproving glares and a sub par service. I've never really experienced that at the Dolls House. But it does depend on the girl.

as for Asian places you’re right about the two you mentioned but they also have cheaper pricing. And the best value in town is probably 55a, 320 for 60 mins vip which is way better than gfe at kiwi joints. Usually young hot chicks that will love ya longtime
