This site has a private, invite-only VIP review forum where a select few post and discuss reviews out of public view.

So why should everyone else keep writing detailed reviews in public—creating value, traffic, and credibility, exposing yourself and personal details out to the world while a small group gets a private platform ?

That creates a two-tier system: public contributors and hidden insiders. It’s less transparent, less fair, and a strong disincentive for regular users to contribute.

At that point, public reviewers are just unpaid content generators for a platform that clearly values private voices more.

Until reviews are treated consistently and openly, I don’t see a good reason for the rest of us to keep posting here. If feedback is going to be segmented and selectively hidden, it’s better shared elsewhere—or not at all.

It's just a private members section primarily for discussing things without the working girls and public being able to read. It was much disclosed this in the "Welcome to PunterHub" announcement, which nobody probably bothered to read. Having a private section for punters only was something us SF OGs wanted on the other forum for a long time but they never delivered, despite promising it for paying members. At least we actually created one and we are charging people to access it.

No one really posts reviews in the private section exclusively, they just sometimes post additional details there they don't want public.

I understand it's frustrating and you might feel left out not having access. But we do continue to give new people access from time to time. We just need to make sure you are trustworthy, not a working girl or industry insider, and ideally display some level of loyalty to this community.

It is probably a bit annoying but JP and the members in the private group would know that in order to keep this forum alive they have to continue to post. Otherwise they would have just created a messaging group using burner phones. The truth is there’s probably more real time and raw information shared in direct messages once you gain some form of trust with another member. Its been like this for me since before the forum days and to this day groups have evolved from emails, txt to telegram now with punter friends who just can’t be bothered with posting a review and just prefer short and to the point details. It’s give and take as well you provide info and in turn get info - hopefully they don’t have access to our messages otherwise they’d have all the gold.

Moving posts has been around since AF and there has always been editing to removing any identifying details. If they start actually rewording then people will just leave.

• The Popcorn Pit is where you can shit post, troll, and argue to your hearts content. We are aware that some people enjoy reading this sort of content, so they can find it here. The moderators may potentially move particularly heated threads or posts to the Popcorn Pit.
• There may allegedly be a private members' section for special long-time community contributors.

You were trolling and your posts were disrupting the review that's why they were moved to the popcorn pit. This isn't SF we have some moderation here. I knew we were going to have trolling and arguments on the forum so that's the whole reason we have the popcorn pit. Don't take it personally if you find some of your stuff moved there.
