I see it different, i think these girls make a lot less than they claim. They just Cope by saying what they think is a justifiable number for the stigma.
I tend to agree, the money they can make is really good on an hourly basis but not many are charging their rates across a 40 or 40+ hour week or producing income for a full year. A hooker I used to knock around with in the late 90's was making 300-400 a night working for a Wellington agency doing long all nighter shifts but she was only working 3 or sometimes 4 days every second week, it was pre PRA era so there was no withholding tax or income tax declared it was cash straight out of the agency after their fee's and deductions $$$$, I was still annually earning more than her on my taxable income. Even if she wanted to she couldn't work 5 days a week 52 weeks a year it was too much and the week on week off was the only way she could mentally and physically manage the demands of the industry and punters cocks
