Booked a massage at Magic Touch Epsom not knowing what the deal would be, but at $69 for 1 hour massage thought it was worth a punt, even if only a massage.
Arrived 5 mins early for 11am appointment and entered shop - pretty dingy hair salon type place with no customers. Middle-aged staff greeted me and took me to the back of the shop and up stairs - first warning sign ! Asked me to wait in hallway because I was a little early - second warning. I’m feeling a little exposed waiting in the landing hallway. Door opens and out pops ‘therapist’ finger over lips ‘shsss’ - clearly a punter in room. She’s also middle-aged Thai with loads of makeup trying to look younger - third warning !
By now Im uncomfortable and thinking this is a situation I’m going to regret - should I do a runner ? Luckily I haven’t paid yet ! I bite the bullet and get up and walk - down the stairs across the empty shop and out !
So pleased I left - horrible dingy place, ugly old Thai women, no idea what the massage would have been like ! My advice - Avoid like the plague !
