Lidocaine cream to go longer?

Anyone have any experience using lidocaine to extend a session? Heard that you can purchase it and use it on your cock to desensitise it and fuck for longer.

It’s the same strength at Emla cream 5% Lidocaine. My thought is if it totally desensitized your cock won’t it go down as you won’t feel anything.
You can get a 2% lidocaine/ lignocaine gel. Used for sunburn and such. Called “ Soov”. Maybe better to try that first. ? Can only offer theoretical advice as never tried it.
