To admit this.
I wouldn't, ordinarily. But I like this online community, so here goes.
So far in 2026, I have worked out that my total spend on Escorts, is just over $3000. That may be more than other, more experienced Punters., it may be less than others. The point is, I think I'm almost done. I've realized that although most punts have been anywhere on the scale from ' Good ' to ' Great ', another far more concerning realization has surfaced: I haven't been interacting with ' Civilian ' women with quite the same confidence as before this started. Also, I am 40, not in great physical shape at the moment, and though the total spend I mentioned before is not scary, I also have about the same amount in credit card debt. For someone self-employed & only working about 30 hrs p w, it does weigh on my mind, sometimes.
I am starting to feel some existential numbness, every time I look at Escortify.co.nz or nzgirls.co.nz. Is it just a cavernous void that can never be ' wholsomely filled? Some of my friends have families, homes etc and it feels as though me still using these ' services ' is a case of arrested development. I have gone ahead with a couple of average-looking women, on punts, but is the whole thing worth it? Mixed in the tapestry are a handful of b&s stories, including one woman trying to stop me from leaving. Have any of the ' old heads ' on here been through this? I'm keen to read the divergent paths, as I'm sure there'll be incorrigible ' Punters ' who maybe with wisdom see the ' scene ' as a bit like Las Vegas, right through to contented Bachelors for whom punting is not necessarily the ' cake ' of life, but possibly the icing.
All I know is I have to ' dial back ' on this. With Summer approaching, my body is still strong enough to play sport, but optimal condition must be the focus. Need to get back into running, reading and THEN rooting. The gamut encompasses: diet, exercise, self-discipline & overall self-respect. Not to mention a restoration of the natural sense of self-confidence with women that I'm sure we ALL seek, and which I know will return with genuine effort, on my part.
For those that persisted with punting, when they were once in my shoes, what made your compass
change one way or the other? An unexpected punt? Life goals? Rock bottom?
Have a good weekend, guys!
