You guys definitely have a marketing problem . New Zealand is totally unknown for punting, even though it's legal, English friendly, and pricing is transparent online. I don't even know how I stumbled upon this community in the first place.

It's wild because SEA countries like Thailand and Vietnam are far better known for it, despite the whole scene there being shady and illegal. Maybe one day I'll build up enough courage to go.

I think there's a huge untapped opportunity if you can get the word out to shy, socially awkward nerds with decent disposable income. I haven't mentioned it to anyone in my own circle yet, but I can already think of a few potential candidates who are too nervous to travel to Southeast Asia. Amsterdam's Red Light District was on my consideration list too, but the lack of privacy walking through the door was a turnoff.

True. Price is definitely a major factor. SEA will always have cheap supply, but the language barrier and cultural differences are big deterrents, for me at least.
