New agency for sale for $350k. Any idea which one it is?

Link here

Supposedly Sapphire Blue, which was advertised earlier in the year, has been already sold. Unless the deal fell through?

Maybe Doak bought an old agency, refurbished it, then either ran out of money or realised he didn't have the skillset to run it?

About this Business for sale in Auckland Region, Auckland City

This Brothel is located in the Central Auckland CBD in a beautiful set up that is to be sold at a fraction of it's setting up costs.

If you have ever wanted a site to run this sort of business you could not get a better bargain than this.

  • This is a tremendous opportunity at way below cost.
  • Completely refurbished at a cost the owner says of over $550,000.
  • Family reasons force sale before the owners dream can be realised.
  • He wanted the biggest and best appointed brothel in NZ and that's what he's built. But now it must be sold.
  • Currently open and operating but need enthusiastic owner and staff to kick it off properly
  • Avenues are there for future growth by the provision of more rooms, a liquor licence, and a spa area.
  • All appropriate licences and registrations are in place.

Interested to know more about this? You should be as ground floor bargains such as this rarely come on the market.

i wonder what makes a brothel worth 350K.
what are the hard assets.
remodelling of a leased commercial tenancy?
rolodex of working girls?
if your landlord evicts you, whats the business worth then?
Supposedly it would be based on proven income, although it's no doubt very common for brothels to cook the books - either way.

In Sapphire Blue's case I guess the brand and the employees are the main thing. And there's no guarantee the girls will stay there.

As to this new one, who knows?

Maybe the apartment? They recently moved into a refurbished place?
Don't think so as the whole agency is for sale, and presumingly just the lease. The Apartment has two locations an is apparently looking at getting a third because it needs to expand.

I would say its one of those small struggling agencies no one has heard about because they have terrible marketing. Like Galaxy Club

Maybe Ogroup since they recently distanced themselves from AA

It says it has a fully license bar with a liquor license so that narrows it down a bit. Not many brothels have bars these days, hence my suggestion of Galaxy club.

Pelican Club perhaps
Pelican clubs a dump. I would feel sorry for anyone who buys that place. If you guys think Vixens is bad with the vinyl pad mattresses... Pelican club has them and doesn't even put sheets, blankets or towels down on them. It feels like fucking someone on a cheap vinyl padded seat in a cheap bar. And the vinyl sticks to your skin and the whole place smells of alcohol. That place needs to demolished.

It’s a throw back to a less civilised age. I agree it should be demolished.

Yeah, Galaxy seems most likely, given it's advertised as CBD.

Buying or setting up a brothel isn't too hard. Finding a good manager and girls is - and this is what makes the business.
Some on here may remember Platinum from the original AF, discussing the constant challenges of maintaining a quality roster.
