BREAKING NEWS: The Admin of AdultForum is considering what to do with his forum after one member likened their continue presence on there to be like "clinging to relevance like the final days of a slightly toxic relationship". Other members complained that there is no point posting reviews on there any more, as nobody else does, and nobody reads them.
Most of the last remaining members on there are in full agreement that the forum's demise is due to censorship in two ways: Firstly the over the top moderation, from toxic individuals such as Amber "Big Red/Grey" O'Hara, who would ban members for criticising other sex workers. And secondly, the "DND" (Do Not Disturb) list whereby NewZealandGirl's advertising escorts could request that Forum members be prohibited from writing reviews on them, a service unavailable to ladies who advertise elsewhere such as Escortify.
The AdultForum Admin weighed in and admitted that the censorship went too far but still expressed his full support for Amber "Big Red/Grey" O'Hara's actions and the DND list. Mr AF also discussed the mismanagement of the forum and his lack of participation on his own forum and blamed it on lack of interest and having other higher priority tasks. He admitted trying to save the forum from total death would require him needing to put a lot of unpaid work hours into it and that he has “zero incentive to do so”.
Mr AF reminded the other members that he is not a “punter” and did not have “an active interest in the lifestyle, or consuming & contributing to these conversations from experience”. He suggested perhaps turning the forum into a medical cannabis forum and making some major reforms such as revising the rules and unbanning thousands of members.
Some of the other members remarked that it is “too late” to try and save the decaying forum and that no amount of new moderators, rule changing, or unbanning will bring people back and save it now. One die-hard member suggested the AdultForum “is dead in the water if it retains a DND list” and Mr AF responded by saying “abolishing the DND list completely is unlikely”.
Another member suggested the reason the forum will never remove the list is because NZGirls tolerates baiting and switching and benefits monetarily from the deceitful actions such escorts. Despite promising to relax censorship and restrictions, Mr AF stated he would have now have to enforce a rule where he would prohibit all mention of the other forums, SexForum and PunterHub!
Although it is unlikely to happen, the removal of the DND list would be a major blow to the many activist escorts who have been loudly championing it, including those trying to introduce it to SexForum. The irony of course is that the same escorts who defended the DND list so valiantly, have already turned their back on AdultForum and joined SexForum where they continue to dominate the discouse. Such is their loyalty!
On a positive note I am please to report that AdultForum is still active in one area, it’s word games! Currently the forum is running FOUR different word games. The oldest of which has been running since 2008. One particularly enthusiastic member, ClassicMan, has posted in all four of the games and has been eagerly waiting since Monday for another member to respond!
