Is it worth getting married nowadays if you see the economy, finances etc.

Marry a woman who doesn't require you to spend 40k on a diamond and a lavish wedding in order to prove your devotion.

If the wife still works and can contribute to household income, I don’t see why not. If she wants to stay at home to take care of kids, I’d reconsider.

A dual income couple living under 1 roof with shared expenses would be a good “financial” move.

1 income (yours), and stay at home wife with say 2 kids. If you’re not rich, it’ll be a struggle. Even if you are, it’s still not going to be sunshine and rainbow. One of my friends makes $900k/yr with stay at home wife + 2 newborn babies. All finances are taken care of, but with crying babies, a nagging wife, and a stressful job to keep the cash rolling in. Let’s just say I wouldn’t trade place with him.
