Custom officers are using normal common sense.
First, travelling to NZ is considered very expensive for SEA girls (even you are from Singapore), then for example even a qualified nurse in HCM is earning $800-1.5k (1.5k ish for private or senior) per month. So in order for a 18-25 yr old single lady having a 30 days holiday in NZ..... :rolleyes:

She was meant to come back but maybe got blocked by customs.

Sakura and Ginza are "pop uo" agencies. When the owner/managers manage to secure a girl or two they pop IP. When the girl leaves NZ they disappear... Until they find a new girl
 
I guess that makes sense. business registrations in NZ are pretty straightforward so having small pop up shops appear/disappear adds up

Yes! They have to fill out paperwork showing they have enough money to be here etc. No visa free periods etc. Makes it hard to slip through for some casual whoring on a brief trip.

Every Filipina escort I have met in nz has already been a NZ permanent resident or citizen.
