Hi, unsure if I am allow to post this (remove it admin if I broke the rules), but below is a NZ Herald article where Auckland based escort Rose Adamo done a Q&A about her work.
Some interesting tibbt but take it with a grain of salt I guess. She's racking in 12k per month... food for thought.

From a Paralympic athlete to a surprising use for a butter knife, high-class sex worker Rose Adamo has seen it all. In a full and frank interview, she tells Carolyne Meng-Yee what it’s really like to be a “private working girl”....
Why did you become a sex worker?
I was studying in 2018, working night shift for a minimum wage and struggling financially. I was 18 and looking for extra pocket money, and figured men were willing to pay a lot for nude photos. I was a video gamer and sold nude photos to my male friends during lockdown, that’s how I started.
Men also paid me $200 for five-minute videos of me self-pleasuring, doing a striptease or using toys. In 2019, I worked fulltime at a brothel and left three years later.
Do your family know what you do for a living?
I didn’t tell them for a long time; most of my family know except my grandmother.
How did your mother react?
Mum was devastated, but she loves me very much. I’m incredibly lucky to have a family that supports me.
Are you in a relationship?
I am with a man, which is ironic [because] I lean towards being gay, but he is the only man I will have sex with for free.
How does being a sex worker impact your relationships?
It has impacted us profoundly – we have had a few ups and downs. But I am very honest about who I am and what I do. My family loves me and accepts me, I would be very silly to accept anything less from a partner.
Can you describe some of your clients?
I cover every demographic. I might have a gangster in the morning, a brain surgeon, someone fresh out of prison, followed by a lawyer who put them in there.
I attract men who are autistic and struggle socially. I have taken a lot of virginities, imagine if you are over 30 and you’re a virgin? It can be incredibly intimidating, like not being attractive or sociable enough to get a woman to go home with you.
Or you might have massive performance anxiety because you’ve never had sex before. Clients come to see me to practise. I respect that, it’s a valid reason to see a sex worker.
Do you offer your services to clients with disabilities?
Yes, I have a lot of time and patience with clients with disabilities. I had a nice young guy, paralysed from the waist down, who’s been a Paralympic athlete. I thought it was a refreshing experience – sometimes you get people with disabilities and it’s emotionally exhausting, but he was one of the nicest clients I have met.
How much do you charge?
As a private working girl, I charge $500 per hour for a “girlfriend experience” (GFE), which involves three things (French kissing, oral sex and vaginal sex). A lot of girls offer just GFE, which is vanilla sex you might have with your partner during the week.
I offer kink or a porn star experience, which requires a lot more energy. There might be hair-pulling, spanking and rough sex. I am quite kinky and enjoy bondage, rope restraints and spanking tools.
For two-hour dinner dates, it’s $500 and extra on top of that by the hour. Overnights cost $3000 for 12 hours.
How much money do you make?
It fluctuates massively. On average, I make around $12,000 a month. Occasionally, I’ll have an extremely wealthy client who wants to see me for a month and I’ll make closer to $40k. I live very comfortably and have a lot of time on my hands.
You usually figure out within the first 18 months whether sex work is the right path – some girls leave after six months. I believe that if you can last 18 to 24 months in this industry, you develop the mental strength needed to carry you long term.
I always tell myself, “I’m not going to let this affect me”, and I compartmentalise. That said, you can’t completely control the emotions you feel, but you need to be resilient.
How much does it cost to be you? What “work” have you had?
None. No Botox and I’ve got tiny boobs. I could have got fake double Ds, but it would look silly on my figure. I’m lean and athletic and do yoga to stay in shape. The most expensive thing I pay for is sex toys, but they end up paying for themselves.
What happens on a typical day?
I condense my bookings to a couple of days and have the rest of the week off. I start bookings around 9 or 10 am, and I have a limit on the number of clients a day. Often men have sex on their way to work, during their lunch break, or immediately after work to avoid sitting in traffic. It’s very popular – you can book 30 minutes for a couple of hundred dollars, have amazing sex with a beautiful woman, and then head on your way, skipping the traffic. The men come, and then they go – it’s wham, bam, thank you, ma’am.
I don’t need to get to know these people. My regulars are between the ages of 40 and 65. With some clients, I’ve enjoyed longer-term arrangements, but most don’t need to know you.
Have you ever fallen in love with a client?
No... I respect my regulars and I have a couple who don’t pay for sex anymore. I’ve known them for five years and have lunch with them; the relationship has evolved into a transactional friendship. They’ll give me a couple of hundred bucks and treat me to a nice meal at the French Cafe or the Soul bar. Most of those men are usually older, wealthy, multi-millionaires.
Tell me about your wealthy clients?
One is a straight-up billionaire who lived in a country mansion with a security guard. His thing is to play this one love song on a loop – for hours.
It was strange, he gave me heaps of money and we never had sex. I [pleasured him], never kissed him. I am still traumatised when I hear it.
I think the most I made in one night was over $3000, and I was there for a few hours. The longest booking I had was over four days when I went to Thailand. I was the client’s “hotel wife” and made $12k.
What is the most unusual request you have had?
A fake circumcision using a butter knife and a piece of ham. He wanted me to tie him to the bed, do a striptease... it was utterly ridiculous, but he got off on it.
Another little guy likes to lie on the floor while I walk on his chest with stilettos – he has all these marks on his body. It’s clean and I don’t have to have sex with him. You get paid to walk all over him, he masturbates and leaves.
Are there any sex acts you’re not prepared to engage in?
Role play stuff like stepsister or stepdaughter incest requests – that’s just yuck.
How many times have you engaged in group sex?
On average, I probably do a threesome once a week. When I was at the brothel, we had full-blown orgies – the client, me and four other girls. It’s easy for me, being bisexual. We went through heaps of condoms.
What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
Wait. Don’t do it – wait till you’re 21 or older before you join the industry. Have as much sex for free with people you are genuinely attracted to, including women. And wait till you are more mature, because if you are young, you don’t know what your boundaries are – the client decides for you what they are and you will think, ‘I hated that’.
